Replacing the old shaver head on your Philips electric rotary shaver will help prolong its life, keeping it running and performing well for years to come.
Why you Should Replace your Shaver’s Head
Electric shavers are, at their core, mechanical devices – and like any such device, can wear down through extensive use.
It’s simple physics: heat and friction result in wear and tear. Sharp edges and corners become rounded; small gaps develop; rough surfaces are worn smooth.
The changes are small – hardly visible – but enough to diminish performance.
Philips Series 3000 Replacement Shaver Heads
Philips Series 3000 electric rotary shavers utilize three cutting elements, each of which follows the unique contours of your face, rapidly rotating, while lifting, capturing and cutting hair.
With features such as wet/dry operation, and Philips’ Flex and Float system, Series 3000 shavers are solid, well-priced performers.
Series 3000 replacement shaver heads utilize Philips’ ComfortCut Blade System, with a rounded profile that glides over skin, minimizing irritation, protecting against nicks and cuts, and shaving even flat-lying hairs.
Compatible with Philips Series 3000 and 1000 electric shavers, each package contains three stainless steel shaver heads.
Philips Series 5000 Replacement Shaver Heads
Philips mid-range Series 5000 electric rotary shavers provide a wide range of high-value shaving options, including dry and wet/dry operation, integrated precision and beard trimmers, and a turbo function.
Series 5000 replacement shaver heads utilize MultiPrecision blades, which raise and cut both long and short hairs, then remove any remaining stubble.
With dozens of micro-perforations and carefully shaped channels, the combination of which targets hairs of all different lengths.
Compatible with Philips Series 5000 and AquaTouch 5000 electric shavers, each package contains three stainless steel shaving heads.
Philips Series 9000 Replacement Shaver Heads
Philips high-end Series 9000 electric rotary shavers are premium products that provide an exceptional shave.
With 8-direction Dynamic Flex heads that offer unparalleled accuracy on even the most challenging facial contours, digital battery status indicators, above-average battery life and wet/dry AquaTech technology, Philips Series 9000 electric shavers are a no-compromise shaving solution.
Series 9000 replacement shaver heads are ideal for shaving one- to three-day old beards, thanks to the innovative V-Track Precision Pro system.
A combination of angled perforations and 42 teeth place each hair – even flat-lying hairs of varying length – in an optimal position from which to be cut – and cut hair up to thirty percent closer, in fewer strokes, than other blades.
Compatible with Philips Series 9000 and 8000 electric shavers, each package contains three stainless steel shaving heads.
Philips OneBlade Replacement Blade
Philips’ OneBlade is neither a trimmer, nor a shaver, it’s both.
A unique grooming tool, the likes of which was unknown until brought to market by Philips, the OneBlade trims, edges and cuts facial hair of any length, cutting close – but not uncomfortably so – at 12,000 times per minute.
The OneBlade’s versatility makes it ideal for men who alternate between bearded and clean-shaven.
OneBlade replacement blades resemble a traditional razor cartridge, but are thinner and flatter.
Dozens of coated, smooth-gliding teeth allow the blade to be used in either direction without rotating the shaver, and an anti-friction coating further improves the blade’s ability to glide over your face.
Philips Bodygroom TT2000/43 Replacement Blade
Philips Bodygroom products are all-in-one grooming tools, designed for use on every part of your body: Neck, shoulders, upper and lower back, chest, abs, pubic area and legs.
With an easy-grip handle and elongated neck that allows the 3D-pivoting cutting head to access even troublesome areas, the Philips Bodygroom is ideal for keeping yourself well-groomed from head to toe.
Bodygroom replacement blades feature micro-perforated foil, and dual-sided, angled combs consisting of dozens of rounded teeth, engineered to capture even coarse, curly body hair, which often grows in divergent directions.
Designed for both wet and dry use, Bodygroom replacement blades are one hundred percent waterproof, and may be used in the shower, for maximum comfort and performance.
Compatible with the Philips Bodygroom series of grooming tools, each package contains one replacement blade.
How and When to Replace Your Philips Shaver Head
Many Philips electric shavers feature a reminder system, which illuminates when it’s time to replace the shaving heads.
If your shaver lacks this feature, simply replace the heads every eighteen to twenty four months, depending on frequency of use.
- Remove the shaving head holder.
- Using the retaining ring holder, twist the retaining ring counterclockwise, and remove it from the shaving head.
